Ray Parker Jr is an American Singer song writer and guitarist , record producer, and actor, best known for writing and performing the theme song to the 1984 movie Ghostbusters, for his solo music, and for performing with his band, Raydio, and with Barry White.

Parker also made acting appearances on the 1980s sitcom Gimme a Break, 1984 CBS Saturday morning kids' show Pryor's Place (for which Parker appeared in the opening title sequence singing the theme song), Disorderlies (1987), Enemy Territory (1987), Charlie Barnett's Terms of Enrollment (1986)  aka Terms of Enrollment (USA: short title), two episodes of Berrenger's (1985), and Uptown Saturday Night (1974). He was also a production assistant for the film Fly by Night (1993).  Guest appearances on 21 Jump Street and Kids Incorporated. In  2009, Parker appeared in a television advertisement for 118 118,  This featured Parker singing a 118-specific version of the Ghostbusters theme song. In 2014, Parker appeared in the fifth episode of the first season of NBC's romantic comedy television series A to Z  singing the "Ghostbusters" theme song for a Halloween party.

MICK FOLEY -MANKIND

Mick Foley is a legendary professional wrestler, author ,  stand-up comic & spoken word performer.

WWE’s meteoric rise in the late 90’s saw Mick Foley earn the nickname ‘The Hardcore Legend’ as he seem to take and accept and absorb brutal physical punishment. His respect was already earned for his 11 physically punishing years wrestling under the name Cactus Jack, Foley’s career went to new heights in WWE as ‘Mankind’, a character Foley claimed was inspired by a combination of reading ‘Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein’ and listening to the music of Tori Amos

As Cactus Jack, Foley won the 1995 ‘King of the Deathmatch’ tournament in Yokohama, Japan, and continued wrestling, despite the amputation of his right ear, in a match against Vader in Munich, Germany in 1994. As Mankind, Foley was a 3-time WWE Champion, but is best known for his epic and brutal battle with The Undertaker in 1998’s ‘Hell in a Cell’ match, during which he was knocked unconscious after falls both off of and through the 16 foot Cell structure. Despite the injury, Foley finished the match – with one of his front teeth lodged in his nose.

Ernie Hudson

Ernie Hudson is one of the most recognisable faces in science fiction cinema with his portrayal of Winston Zeddemore in the hugely successful Ghostbusters 1 & 2. Amongst many other roles including a cameo in the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot he's loved for playing Sergeant Darryl Albrecht in the cult comic book classic adaptation The Crow. Other appearances include Once Upon a Time, Twin Peaks, Torchwood and Superman.

Zach Galligan

Zach Galligan is best known for playing Billy Peltzer in Gremlins 1 and 2 and also starring in the cult horror movie series Waxwork. He will be bringing with him an animatronic version of his cuddly co-star Gizmo - which is being built especially for Comic Con Scotland 2018. His cute and adorable friend will sit inside his chest on the signing table alongside Zach. You'll have the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Billy Peltzer and Gizmo and even get a professional photo taken with them too!

William Atherton

William is best known for his role in Ghostbusters as the EPA agent Walter Peck, and reporter Richard "Dick" Thornburg in the blockbuster action film Die Hard. His glittering career spans almost 50 years, appearing in almost 50 movies. 

 

William will be attending Comic Con Scotland on both days of the event 10-11 November 2018

Iain Glenn

Iain Glen is a Edinburgh born, film, television, and stage actor best known for his roles as Dr. Alexander Isaacs in the Resident Evil films and as Ser Jorah Mormont on the International hit HBO series Game of Thrones. 

In 2010, he played the role of Father Octavian, leader of a sect of clerics who were on a mission against the Weeping Angels in "The Time of Angels" and "Flesh and Stone", a two-episode story which formed part of the fifth season of the revived television series Doctor Who. He appeared in the second series of Downton Abbey, as Sir Richard Carlisle, a tabloid publisher who is a suitor to, and subsequently engaged to, Lady Mary.

Iain also played Vaughn Edwards in the hit BBC spy series Spooks.

James Cosmo

Best known for his appearances in Highlander, Braveheart, Trainspotting, Troy, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Ben-Hur and Wonder Woman, as well as television series such as Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy.

Des O'Gorman

SAturday & Sunday

MEGA NERD/comedian/actor/pretty good singer Des O'Gorman is the stage host the panels and the cosplay contests. Des has been hosting several conventions all over the UK since starting in 2015 and he has become a bit of a fan favourite. Funny, relaxed and full of energy, Des is proving to be the go-to name for panel hosting. 

 

Des will be attending Comic Con Scotland on both days of the event 10-11 November 2018 and will also be selling signed cosplay photos
